Rampage Community Programs As a professional football team, the Rampage are extremely visible. We feel that it is our obligation and privilege to utilize this visibility and serve the community in which we live and work. One of the unique elements of Arena Football is the league's unwavering commitment to community service. This is exemplified by the Fans' Bill of Rights, regular postgame autograph sessions, a mandate by the league to maintain low ticket prices and participation in numerous league-wide charity events. "We believe that Fans expect us to honor our country and "It's very important for our players to give back and to enlighten and give hope to young people," said Michael Baker, former Rampage star receiver and offensive coordinator. "Whether the students we are talking to want to pursue a career in professional football, business or another field, we want to teach them the importance of making a difference in their community." Touchdown Tuesdays, a joint partnership between the Rampage and Comcast, is perhaps the Rampage's most popular community outreach program. Established in 2003, Touchdown Tuesdays provides a regular schedule of player appearances throughout the AFL season. Included among these visits is the Rampage Football Fitness Frenzy, an after school fitness program run in collaboration with The LOOP and Grand Rapids Public Schools. The Rampage are also proud of their Youth Football Program, which began in ernest in 2006. Every Tuesday and Saturday during the youth football season, members of the Rampage staff, players and Rage Dance Team members visited several West Michigan youth football and cheer teams to offer words of wisdom and show off their skills.
